Emojimas

In 2015, Oxford Dictionary’s word of the year was the crying laughing emoji. I played with this universal language to spread some Christmas cheer for The Marketing Practice. I substituted emojis for words to create festive song puzzles for people to share and crack, with a physical card launching a series of tweets.

The card was a fun take on ‘The 12 days of Christmas’.

Starting with a single pear and a tree, the lines of emojis build to create the lines of the song, and the shape of a Christmas tree.
